It is offered at an affordable price for all standard domestic services and is also combined with the Cash on Delivery (COD) service, providing a complete solution for the distribution and transportation of goods. All domestic and international shipments are automatically covered at no additional cost to either the sender or the recipient. In the event of proven liability on the part of Geniki Taxydromiki, compensation is paid and the postage fee for the shipment is refunded, as follows:

Envelopes (Documents): Compensation is determined based on the postage fee paid and is equal to ten times (10x) the amount for domestic shipments and up to five times (5x) the amount for international shipments, with a maximum limit of €70.00.

Parcels (Items): Compensation is likewise determined based on the postage fee paid and is equal to eight times (8x) the amount for domestic shipments and up to four times (4x) the amount for international shipments, with a maximum limit of €400.00.

In all cases, the maximum compensation may not exceed the purchase or replacement value of the item.
There is an option to insure domestic shipments with a declared value exceeding €400.00, subject to an insurance premium of 0.6% of their value. For any insurance coverage exceeding €3,000.00, prior consultation with the customer service branch is required.
Please note that insurance does not cover consequential or indirect loss. In order for compensation to be paid (whether under automatic coverage or declared-value insurance), it is necessary to provide a supporting document specifying the value of the item before commercial profit.

Starting from September 15th 2022, a delivery option with exceptionally low rates will be available for all shipments originating within Geniki Taxyxromiki’s network (Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania) and destined for Greece, with collection / pick up from a Geniki Taxydromiki service point of your choice.

This new service can also be combined with Cash on Delivery service.
