Environmental Policy

Geniki Taxydromiki has placed environmental protection as an immediate priority. Recognizing the need for the rational management of its activities, which may have or may potentially have an impact on the environment, the company has adopted and continuously improves an Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001:2015. The company’s Management has established environmental objectives, which are monitored and, where necessary, reviewed to ensure they remain adequate and effective for environmental protection.

Within the framework of its environmental policy, Geniki Taxydromiki is committed to:

A) Operating in compliance with applicable legal and other requirements.

B) Taking all necessary actions to monitor, measure, evaluate, and improve its environmental performance.

C) Continuously informing and training of staff on environmental management issues.

D) Providing all necessary resources for the effective operation of the System.

E) Maintaining regular communication with all stakeholders to promote its environmental policy and cooperate in addressing environmental issues.

F) Taking measures to prevent environmental accidents and to address pollution resulting from potential incidents.

G) Cooperating with approved suppliers and further evaluating them based on environmental criteria.

H) Using, wherever feasible, new environmentally friendly means and equipment.

I) Developing environmental programs aimed at:

• Proper management of natural and energy resources.
• Reduction of waste generated and proper management of air emissions.
• Reduction of noise and vibrations.
• Reuse and recycling of materials and waste.

This policy has been communicated to all employees of Geniki Taxydromiki and is available to all interested parties. It is periodically reviewed and, when necessary, revised to remain aligned with developments.
